This past August, Barletta Pontoons came to Lake Minnetonka to shoot their 2024 catalog photos. Our team member Rob, his wife Jenny and their two kids were able to test drive the new 2024 Barletta Aria 24QC. Here’s what they thought of Barletta’s newest model which is described as the first step into luxury.

Q: What features stood out as particularly useful or enjoyable while driving the pontoon?

A: Oversized pool style swim ladder was great for reboarding, Extended rear deck was awesome extra space we used as a diving platform, I had a lot of leg room at the dashboard-I could stretch out my legs 100%, performance with a 150 hp was unbelievable.

Q: What were your impressions of the boats handing and stability on the water?

A: The boat was nearly as fast as the 22 footer. It was almost the exact same performance experience as the 22. There was no need for a 200 hp.

Q: How did the boat handle in terms of noise and vibrations during your time on the water?

A: The boat was silent, there were no indications of vibration anywhere. It’s one of the quietest boating experiences you can get.

Q: Overall, how would you rate your experience driving the pontoon boat and would you recommend it to others for leisure or boating activities?

A: The smooth-calm ride was very pleasant for my wife who does not like a lot of motion and has a history of vertigo while traveling in cars for long periods. She was able to ride around without being overwhelmed by sound and movement, the boat is extremely stable.

About the Barletta Aria Series:

Introduction: The Barletta Aria series is an entry point into luxury pontoon boats, offering a budget-friendly choice for families. It was designed to offer a cost-effective alternative for those seeking a quality pontoon boat without worrying about sacrifice when it comes to construction.

Quality and Performance: The Aria is built with the same quality and performance standards as other Barletta models, ensuring a rattle-free ride, durable construction, and a power bimini for ease on the water.

Features: The Aria shares some features with higher-priced Cabrio models, such as construction quality and the power bimini. However, it has some differences, including a single exterior color option, no elevated helm, and a different helm configuration. It also includes pet-friendly features.

Motor Options: The Aria series offers different motor options, with the Aria Tritoon 20 supporting up to a Mercury 150 horsepower engine and the Aria Tritoon 22 supporting up to a Mercury 200 horsepower engine.

Design: The design of the Aria is slightly simpler compared to the Cabrio series. Differences in design include the Ultra-Lounge seating layout, the swim deck length, and interior color options.

Options/Upgrades: While the Aria comes with many standard features, there are upgrade options available, including depth/fish finders, lighting packages, tables, and seat covers.
